Conference and Hot Showers

I have not had a hot shower since I left the MTC. But this last week we finally got our heater fixed and man I steam up this bathroom so bad. I for real am melting my skin off every time I take a shower. It is so nice. Also we finally watched General Conference this week. Got to say I really am upset at myself for always falling asleep during conferences because, man, this is great stuff. Granted I did take a power nap halfway through a talk during Sunday morning, but hey, I'm improving. I honestly got to say though, the talks have really helped me understand where I can improve and how I can come closer to Christ. Also, got me really excited for next Conference. All these new changes really do make me confident that this church is the true church, and that it is led by prophecy and revelation and in unity with the Savior. 

We have been getting fed so much lately it's crazy. I haven't bought groceries in 3 weeks. Now mom, don't worry, they feed us and give us food to take home and man, it is absolutely insane. My pants still don't fit which is frustrating. but that is besides the point. But actually my thighs are getting bigger because we are doing this jump workout and by the end of next week, I reckon that I could dunk. I am pretty pumped. Right now I am hitting mid palm on the rim and thats pretty close, just got to get a few more inches. 

Also got a haircut. Its REAL short. I miss my long hair... jk doing it to be a good lil' obedient missionary. I guess.... 

This last week we also went to the Temple again. I was excited because its the hecken temple but also because I thought we went to the temple every 6 months but it is actually 3 so thats great. I really went with the spirit and prepared myself for it and felt wonderful. We also got a bomb district pic. 

Although a lot of time this week was spent doing other things running around and only a bit for our area we actually destroyed must of our goals. We planned for 5 new people being taught, 5 at church, and 5 baptismal dates. We got 6 new people and 5 people that we reteaching came to church. So good. I keep feeling at times that our goals are ridiculously high and at times impossible. But with faith, if these things are what God wants us to do they will get done. So crazy to see this stuff happening. Sadly however, we haven't been able to get many people to accept baptism but hopefully that will change soon. 

I am eating just fine mom, look a bowl of corn for dinner!

Halloween Party and Needing a Haircut

Aight fam, lets get into it. 

This week has been pretty crazy. I feel like I am for real just getting slammed with chastisement everyday. But more then anything I feel like I am repenting now more then I have ever before in my entire life. I am constantly asking for forgiveness. 'Cause man, am I a wicked lil devil? lol jk, My hair is getting WAY long rn. I can put it in a small pony tail... gonna get it cut today. Seriously don't want to but learning to be exactly obedient. 

Something that has been crazy on my mind is our goals as a companionship. Our comp goals are so high that if we accomplish them all, we would be carrying half of the zones goals. That's absolutely insane. At first I didn't think it was possible in any way, but I have been blessed with some humbling experiences. Plenty of moments where no success was being shown and it just felt like the worst, but then small things lined up because of the faith that we were able to show. Even if it was as small as a mustard seed. So far we are on track with our goals and that's what is truly insane. The only task now is to stay worthy of these blessings and the continual effort we need to put in. 

Our stake had a fun Halloween activity and we went and helped out. Also, during weekly planning me and my comp got thinking about this skateboard that we can hopefully get approved soon, and it took a solid 15 minutes of our time.... we are SO productive!

Yo and whats with all these rumors of me walking around the apartment naked? I have done it only like once or twice, and thats because I left clothes in other rooms.... maybe I like to air dry a little bit before putting clothes on...... and look peanut butter sandwiches taste so much better naked, don't ask why...

Yes, it is Tuesday a day late for me to send emails. That is because yesterday from 9-5 we were in a part of Hong Kong having a BBQ and it was delicious! I really forgot how much I loved to just sit down and tend to a fire. Most of these asian people don't know how to start a fire. They used these weird flame torches. I was just thinking all you need is some lighter fluid and a match and your done. But hey, they can do what they want to do. I did also get sunburn on my neck and face. I look like a lobster. 

On Sunday Ivan got confirmed and the ward has been so nice to him. He is so helpful and tries to just do as much as he can, and the ward is already treating him like a family member. All we need now is to give him a calling. We were fed on Sunday evening by the second councilor in our bishopric and we they invited Ivan. We spent a little bit to much time there, but we talked about the temple. ( the councilor, my companion, and Ivan. I messed around with his two ADORABLE daughters. gifs provided, my daily planner got wrecked) it was good however because he helped us answer a lot of questions that we would not be able to understand and answer. It was just really good. Also sister Yu asked me again how I am eating and I said I am eating ok. Like what my diet is. and my comp threw me under the bus saying that all I eat is ramen. I have it at least once a day, no more. she got really worried that I am malnourished so she gave us a ton of food, and TWO heads of cabbage. WHAT?! What a wonderful woman. never gonna use them mwhahahaha

Me and my new companion are doing really well. He corrects my language so much and at times I get a little bit mad, but I like it because my trainer never helped me with my language soooooo... but we goof off a lot and its a really good stress reliever. We both get a long pretty well and I am trying to get an Australian accent and its kind of working. Not really lol
